"Many of us made the short bicycle round-trip to Tewkesbury (5 miles) to buy friend fish and potatoes, the latter a sort of French Fried. They were really good, efven with trhe slight seasoning of printer's ink from the newspaper in which they were wrapped for transporting back to s small group to share the delight."
