• Bad Godesberg, Bonn, Germany: in civilian homes with workshops on polo field.

• "After seeing the people we had no desire to fraternise".

• "Finally on 8 May the war was over.  There was still plenty of work to be done.  Each man figuring his points soon after and wondering when he could go home."

11 May - 6 June 1945

• Fulda, Germany: Quarters Catholic School and workshops in Ford/Opel Garage.

• 238 men came overseas: 130 still members (none killed) ; 116/195 qualified for discharge under points system.

• 6 June: 13 men with 103+ points left for USA; Unit awarded "Meritorious Service" Plate.
